Talk sense to a fool and he calls you foolish.~ Euripides
I'm starting this blot on an election year. At the time of this writing, there is 23 days left until the election between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris.
I'm not going to tell you who to vote for. That is your choice. You should vote for whoever you think is best suited to run the country for the next 4 years. And might I add that it is perfectly normal to pick a side and vote. It is perfectly normal to choose a candidate who you like and support that person for whatever office they're running for. It is also perfectly normal to fear the other side, although such fears are often irrational, but that's what normal people do.
What I will say is that in a world that's going to shit, it's always best to look for the light. So, I encourage you to choose wisely. Don't just jump on board with a few of the latest/greatest talking points but do your research.
The talking points are nothing but distractions. They are often emotionally charged points of interest, that normal people like you focus your attention on while the powers that be pull the rug out from under you. You won't even know what hit you.
Sadly, this is the world you're leaving me, so please choose wisely.
Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.~ Mark Twain
